Micro Disc Filters are used at the outlets of wastewater and drinking water treatment plants to improve water quality and increase the efficiency of UV disinfection.
Thanks to the micro screens it contains, the equipment filters out solid particles larger than 10 microns that are suspended or floating in water. Thanks to hydrostatic level sensors integrated into the system's inlet and outlet, the backwash system activates automatically without allowing the screens to become clogged.
The body is made of stainless steel, while the disc assembly is manufactured from high-strength ABS material. The filter section can be either polyester or stainless steel mesh.
Since Micro Disc Filters do not require pressure like closed sand filters, their energy consumption is quite low. Compared to conventional above-ground sand filters, they require less space, resulting in lower initial investment costs. Additionally, due to their continuous operation capability, they can continue filtering even during the backwash process. technical ruler feature value Capacity Up to 1,850 m³/h Filter December up to 11 microns Material AISI304 / AISI316L
