sand separator

sand separator

Sand separators are used to remove inorganic substances such as sand from water in wastewater treatment plants, chemical, food, refining, and similar industries. The sand contained in the wastewater entering the tank from the upper point settles at the tank bottom under the influence of the created flow and accumulates there. The sand accumulated at the tank bottom is transported to the discharge chute via a helical conveyor and removed from the system. The sand-free water is then returned to the system via a weir.
